It is on the side and back of my head and I have a series of 3, and it was too short, cuz you could see the scalp easily.

Basically, the best thing is what to do after a photo. When the stylist, who knows what is best and can not clipper that goes for the fingers and be done Scizzor's. :)

Clippers will have a size in increments of 1 / 8 ", a # 5 for 5 / 8"
(# 3 3 / 8 ", # 4 is 1 / 2", ..........)
